Dear Pandits,

Is there any significance to seeing snakes in dreams, especially if one doesn't have sarpa dosha or any other dosha?

No psychoanalysis please, only astrology here.

I don't know the logic behind this but I have always remembered my mom telling me this:

Seeing a snake in the dream with its hood opened but does not bite - indicates enemies and it is some warning to you.

Snake bites and there is blood - Indicates something good.

Pregnant woman seeing snake - pray to lord Subramanya and pour milk for the snake in a temple.

Just sharing what I had heard.

Thank you, Rajitha. I was wondering whether rahu's influence causes this, if rahu is in 7th, is it called rahu dosha? Maybe, that's the reason.

I have never heard of something called Rahu dosha, especially for Rahu being in the 7th house.

So, it surely must be something else.
