Intercepted signs have played a significant part in western tropical astrology!

Given the higher latitudes that the home of tropical astrology has generally been located in, where some signs rise for a short time or never, given the seasons, intercepted signs often show more prominently than in the perequatorial regions where Jyotish was born and evolved.

But there is an aspect of interception that may apply within jyotish framework as well.

Interception as a phenomenon may have a Jyotish-relevance too, something I had been following and exploring for many years!
