for a dhanu lagn if brihaspati is in dhanu
both dhanu and meen rashi
occupy kendras. so its a functional malefic.
but it has its special drishti on budh in mesh in the 5th house.
in ashtakvarga if jupiter has 8/8 in dhanu...

what will be the effects seen in a jupiter mahadasha and mercury antardasha
as its saptmesh markesh. my jupiter/saturn was the worst period even though it was in the eleventh house in libra where its exhalted and is a gud thing with jupiter in the first house.
i want to do something about this mercury thing.

kindly teach me something which can be uselful to me.

Dear Jigyaasu,
Dwi-Kendraadhipatya Dosh for ownership of kendras will be high for ownership of 4-7, 7-10, but for ownership of 10-1 or 1-4 the above said Dosh reduces considerably, simply because of the ownership of Lagna(1) which is always benefic however the percentage of being "Benefic" may reduce by not more than 25%, that too if it is aspected by other functional benefics AND it has More of Subha-Argala than Paapa-Argala it will not have any Dwi-Kendraadhipatya dosh. We should not apply Vedic Astrology principles "Verbatim" as given in texts, there needs to be a Logical application of all the principles. Since in this case Mercury is in Mesh which is getting full aspect of Jupiter, the malefic effect of mercury will be kept under check by Jupiter and more so in the said Dashas. Further it also needs to be seen as to Jupiter and Mercury are present under which Asterisms and their inter-relationship for further in-depth analysis. My intention is not to confuse you but to bring out the fact that GOD has made us all and it is not so easy and direct application of astrological principles to know about what HE intends to happen with us.

yes sir i m learning. i just wanted a lil help. by the time i will learn that much my markesh period will be over.
