Is Mercury Antar dasha Better than Shani Antar dasha? Or does it only depend on how Mercury fares in my chart?

My Entire Shani antar dasha I have been sitting at home unemployed.

Im also undergoing 3rd phase of sade sati shani.
I guess Shani and Ketu are currently transiting my 10th house from the lagna.

So my Ketu MD- Mercury AD starts in Feb as per the Vedic software.

Is that going to be any better than the Shani antar dasha?

Mercury antardasa is generally better than Shani antardsasa, but it need not be so. It depends on so many other things like shani and Mercurys position in the natal chat, transit chart and also from the dasa lord. Mercury if strong gives new hopes, but in case of weak mercury it can give fickle mindedness and its effects.

It is expected to be better with new directions if you concentrate and focus.
