Does mystic mean something you cannot unravel easily?
Astrology is a wonderful science, My every expereince of predicting it to people has proven it to me time and again. However, there are still people who think astrologers as mad people. I am sure to understand the mystic science you need to be a mystic.
Shyampnair,
I personally have problem lumping astrology with science and with mystic divination all at the same time.
If one is really proficient and consistently so (don't know one and not heard of one even anecdotally!) then one who derives vital predictive and divinatory information without the need for the math and rules and all the grief that astrology represents or all the learning that Tarot and Palmistry entails -- is obviously in a good place!
Now, it is true that in practical applied sense, astrology may have a divinatory aspect to it as KN Rao describes in his books when writing about his extremely accomplished Mother who was an astrologer but went on beyond after her Jyotishmati nadi (quoting KN Rao) became activated. So, it must be a natural progression if one is sincere and dedicated, I suppose.
Perhaps we all should avoid getting into these compartmentalizations many of which are just cerebral and for the sake of discussion and debate.
Keep doing what you are comfortable with, be it astrology or palmistry or reading the runes or just staring into a crystal ball or a natural fire or even at your thumbnail coated with molten camphor (kapoor), etc etc. Without getting distracted too much.
It will all work out, regardless of what conclusions, logical or otherwise anyone comes to rest their weary body on...
