Nandini,
Moon in pisces would not necessarily represent one who is psychic! I hope? I think you tuned in correctly into the Atmakaraka for this nativity!
Lagnesha and Atmakaraka! Hmm...
Atmakaraka is not about things nice and fun! I am sure you have studied BPHS and know that already.
Where atmakaraka is placed -- will hold challenges, where lagnesha is --would represent strength -- assuming that the lagnesha is strong.
Good pick! Insofaras choice of horoscope for study is concerned...! |
One of the interesting points about this chart is that both the rising degree and Lagnesh, are in the stars ruled by the Atmakarak. I think that is an important link that makes the agenda of the Atmakarak visible, though Lagnesh and Atmakarak are placed 6/8 to each other.
Microsoft may not have been created with a will to serve. But Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation sure has been! The mission statement says "Bill and Melinda Gates believe every life has equal value. In 2000, they created the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to help reduce inequities in the United States and around the world."
Trying to reduce inequities and bring some balance is very much a Saturnine theme. Also the fact that it is a Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and not a Bill Gates Foundation, Saturn is the 7th Lord in this chart.
Where did it all begin? Saturn is placed in the 4th house which represents mother. Bill's mother, Mary Gates was a civic activist and philanthropist herself. To read more about her important contributions to her community please visit

Viewed from the Arudha Lagna which is in Scorpio, Saturn the Atmakarak is placed in the 12th house with the 12th Lord Venus. 12th is about charitable institutions and Saturn is the 4th Lord. Moon, in this oreintation is placed in the 5th house from the Arudha Lagna. The Arudha Lagna itself is in the 5th house from Lagna. The 5th house is about children.
One important activity of the Foundation is "Preparing All Students for College, Career, and Life". But the strongest focus seems to be on health. "Toward a Healthier World". The Foundation makes it possible to vaccinate and medicate children around the world. In India, the Foundation has created "Avahan—a national HIV prevention initiative—in 2003."
The phrases in quotes have been taken from the website of the Foundation.
Regards,
Nandini.
