Thanks Rishi

As long as the year does not turn out to be imaginary

Although with 2006 and 2007 being what those had been for the world -- even imaginary seems nice!

Thank you RohiniRanjan and Rishirahul for responding.

I think I should have given a brief background before asking this question. My question arose from reading about Kendradhipati Dosha. How it becomes a malefic/ less benefic???? As per one astrologer the persons career will do exceedingly well once Brihaspati's dasha will start ( march 08) and the effects would be felt by December.

However on the other hand I read that Jupiter takes energy from the house where it resides and gives benefic to the houses it aspects. This just had me concerned as wanted to share my queries with your knowledge versus real life situations...and that is all.

Before going further I just want to say I am just a complete naive person where astrology is concern but I have lots of questions. I know I should read the details first and then approach. Like Rohiniranjanji said it was indeed  an innocent question. My reason of stating Jupiter's position in Navamasha was just to provide added information.

Rohiniranjanji- Thank you for giving me a reality check.I totally understand where you are coming from. I have to admit I am an optimistic person. The so called 'other person' who gave me this candy is my strong faith. Lucky its just internal.
No I am not at all an adventurous person, sometimes I do wish I were because then maybe I can learn life in a better way.
Your advice has re-inforced my belief. Your "unsolicited" advice is always welcome.

Thank You Rishirahul for your response.

I am happy to note that you took my post the right way. Perhaps it is my (mis)perception but I have been noticing a tendency on the 'net' for people to somehow get/disseminate the impression that astrological determinations and delineations are always or even often so direct, such as a ruchaka yoga giving its effect during mars dasha or the lord of 7th or planet therein always giving marriage (why not death or foreign travel or both as a result of marriage!). Seriously, if one observes dispassionately, they will come across one of the KP principles applying fairly frequently, namely that the planet gives the effect in its vimshottari dasha those indicated by its nakshatra dispositor. This then adds to the other sources of wobble that I have named earlier. Astrology is like a very fine camera resting on a rather wobbly tripod sitting over an uneven terrain -- hence the need for reminders to nativities so that they get a clear picture.
