is eclipsing of nodes  is an another aspect to this conjunction ??  If these nodes suck out the "matter" when with Sun/Moon, how is this SHiv / Shakti yoga defined ??

well, i thought the article did say that the yoga has to do with tamas guna and hence destruction.
Shiva we know is the destructive principle among the trinity, Nila-Shakti is His consort - but it has to be seen what the destruction is meant for.

Yep its does involve the destruction aspect in it. I read article by Visti Larsen wherein he mentions that the tamas nature depends on the planets involving.
Also he gives importance to occurrence  of the same yoga in Navamasa.

Re. ( ) the  destruction , it says if it involves malefic .. then it destroys the bad qualities (in one self or soc ) while if benefics are involved then it lead to destruction of good in soc (esp Jup involvement shows life being shattered) ....  so far thats what my lil understanding is  .....
