Generally Saturn and Venus are friendly towards each other, unlike Jupiter and Venus.
Saturn and Venus, though great friends are quite unlike the other. Saturn is cold, unfriendly and ugly to look at. Venus is warm, sociable, charming, and attractive.......totaaly oppsite poles.
Such relations can create problems if not properly handled, and there is always/mostly a 'dwanda' to deal with. The nature of the crisis/dwanda (which could be mental too even if the dasa/antardsasa results are good) is my personal view. Mind you this is not from the books. The cause of dwanda may have begun during the start of the mahadasa in operation or as a fallout of the mahadasa. Our life falters during these periods due to the dwanda factor.
The above paragraph has got nothing to do with the materially received good or bad results.
The books say that because Saturn and Venus are strong....etc. etc.. the results will be bad. When Saturn and Venus, being strong are aspecting each other the results will be bad and otherwise, when they are 6/8 to each other it will be good, may be taken as a guide value, as there are so many intricate stuff during the analysis, that a proper understanding can be received with the analysis of transits, ashtavarga tranits, palmistry ( you have to perfect age readings to be able to be to do it), numerology and specially varshphal, rasi dasas mainly.
In answer to your question regarding Saturn in strength, I have seen a case where the native had Saturn dasa and Venus antardasa where Saturn was very strong in Kumbha and Saturn and Venus was samasapthaka to each other and the results were great;but the tatkalik relation was unfriendly. The mental dwanda results always ( Saturn Venus strong or weak, aspecting or not, dasa antardasa effects good or bad).
Regarding your query about Jupiter Venus in our last para it would be wise to check out the temporal/tatkalik relationship of the planets to get a proper result.
Other views are very welcome.
Your questions are very rich in thought. Keep on your questions.... It lets imagination fly properly.
