Seeking views on the effects of Rahu in Ascendant?

How does such placement affect the personality and health? Also, does such placement nullify the effects of Sun (good or bad) wherever it is placed in the chart?

Obviously will depend on the ascendant and how the lord is faring I would presume?

I do not believe that Rahu is after the 'sun' unconditionally and generally, no matter what the two represent (puritanically/allegorically or where they are placed in a given chart -- if shared sincerely and accurately!

If serious, it is best if forum members, possibly sincere but totally clueless as to astrology,  post their full data so that these data and the posters can be taken seriously and responded to astrologically!

People who took the following posts 'seriously' are also welcome to put in their views on this topic:

1.Saturn in 7th. house---Whitey
2.Married life for ppl with Shukra and Shani in 12th house
3.Rahu opposite saturn...
4.Ketu in 7th House

The chart in question is Sex:Female, DoB: 18 May 1981, Place: Patna, Bihar, Time: 11:05 am.

Thanks rohini for your advice...However, I would also request forum members (sincerely clueless or patronizing experts; I believe the forum welcomes both!) to first go through the guidelines provided in the Sticky by arian_1c which says that "..........as to astrology whether it is a reading they are requesting, it is strongly advisable that they post the request in the special Vedic Astrology Reading Section."

Hence, personal readings with "full data" have another place assigned to this forum. This information was only for the benefit of newcomers and astrological amateurs. I believe veterans or people considering themselves as experts here should already know this!!

This is how I understood it. I will post this for the benefit of experts you pointed your literary lance at in your message  

Full data can be utilized for getting a personal reading (through the reading section of this forum). These are people who just want to know the results and not interested in how the astrologer got to those (the querants are not astrologers or necessarily need or enjoy or understand the astrological reasoning behind the reading).

Full data can also be utilized for helping someone learn (usually beginner astrologers or students) but these generally would have not only the results but also the reasoning or how the astrological thoughts were developed. These should be okay for posting in this discussion forum. That was the intention of my posting which you quoted.
