Imagination, if I may inject a thought Rishi, is our best ally once we embrace it as a friend or even better as a brother. However, the demeanour of such a meeting must be gentle, 'level' and steady. I have always found such to be the most informative. You see, imagination is the rider that can ride two horses. One that is gently stepping through the calm meadows of the soul, through a meditative journey, and soon the soothing naad begins from within and then without and pretty soon from everywhere. The other too we have witnessed on this forum and elsewhere where the horse is scared as too the rider and trotting wildly and all over the place, accusing people of what they are not and creating mayhem. Personal insecurity, whether it be in the workplace or personal life or life in general, bigtime, projected at one or few and documentedly confessed all over the place or forum in certain cases!

Please don't confuse the two. Even the disturbed rider and its even more disturbed horse shall calm down and simply go away! I have seen that pattern so many times that it is almost predictable after all these years!

Please keep doing the public service that I see you doing. That is the best remedy regardless of whether you get a thank you back or not

Thank you for the advise. Healthy imagination should be allowed to fly sometimes. But we should be aware as to be able to guide it well. The reins of the horse (imagination) should be well controlled.

I enjoyed my Christmas differently though. It was lovely.

Each Christmas (or for that matter any pause that refreshes) must be different or else it becomes a drag!

As long as one chooses the right horse, the rider does not matter! In my wordpicture imagination was the rider and not the horse. The horse matters more in keeping the rider healthy and stable and so on.

The rider is the witness self that is experiencing without necessarily participating, the point of awareness and memory.

Imagination is the vehicle. Choose your transport carefully!!
