Greetings my friends.

I once saw a swami/phycisist who took my birth information and name. He plugged my information into his computer and told me that my ishta devata or "karmic lord" was Rudra.   From there he started giving me an amazingly specific reading. He flipped through the years rather quickly.

"The trauma that you experienced when you were 7 caused you to have a lot of problems. You had trouble in school and you were terrible at math. That was because you couldn't concentrate. You still have trouble with math. You hate it."

"Your first boyfriend was kind of crazy. He was obsessesed with you, so you decided to dump him."

"You and your last boyfriend were very happy together, but you broke up. You guys are still close. You still love each other. Thats nice."

"In 2005 you went on a trip and fell in love with someone. You guys aren't together now. He got involved with someone last year, but it didn't work.  out. He's alone now. And sick. Did you know that he was sick? He thinks of you often. He's a good match for you."

You get the point. It was astounding and he was reading everything on his computer. Anyhow I had never had a chart reading like this before. I was wondering which divisional chart he was reading that told him all this specific information about my life on a year to year, month to month basis. I decided to take a glance at his moniter to see if I could see anything that I recognized and when I did so I was stunned.

The moniter contained a series of numbers, kinda like the matrix code or something. Just numbers everywhere...and the names of Gods Rudra, Vishnu, Kali etc. as headlines for the numerical sequence chart. There were no planets, no attributions to the constellations, no dasa cycle info or anything. Just...numbers. Then he told me I needed to change my middle name. What is this? Vedic Numerology, Astrology? Both? I don't know what to think, but he refers to "The Patra" in his book. Can anyone break it down for me?
