I have most books of Dr.B.V.Raman regarding astrology. You could just name the book if you could and I could do the checking up.

In prashna tantra Dr. Raman writes....' Translation of light is another fctor considered in the book.When a planet separatesfrom one another and overtakes another by conjunction or aspect, there is translation of light.'

Quote from English translation of "Neelekanthhoktya taajeekam' the main book of Tajik:=For an ithasala yoga to occur between 2 planets, the faster planet should be'behind' i.e., at lesser degree of longitude than, the slower planet. Only then they be cosidered to be approaching each other. In other words, the slower planet must be 'ahead' of, i.e., greater degrees of longitude than the faster planet'........... I have used the puctuations as it was in the book.

Since I am in the U.S. now only with a small handful of books, will return to India only in Jan/Feb after visiting Canada, I am not able to quote from other main books.

The problem is that many very good astrologers are confused about many facets. The reasons being that our old sutras have difficult meanings and can be interpreted differently. Leaving us to test for ourselves, and I have done a reasonably satisfactory research in tajik. My horary predictions and others too has tajik aspects foolowed closely.

I am fairly sure that I am in the right understanding. However will still check.
