Can anyone throw some light on Vasikaran Mantra. What are the astro indication , that a native is likely to get effected by such  mantra. How do one determine from seeing the horoscope of a person that the individual is afflicted by Black Magic or Vasikaran or under the influence of other person. Broad discussion on this topic is solicted from senior astrologer. How does one get over such vasikaran, if at all determined or visualised. What remedies are available. Though Black magic and vasikaran are different, I used Black magic in the above statement , as I am of the view vasikaran is oneother form of black magic. This thought of mine has come to me after hearing the statement from Mr Yediyurappa EX CM of Karnataka today stating that Mr DEV Gowda was performing black magic to kill him

My understanding is -
Vashikaran is one of the six karmas (Shadkarma) mentioned in the Mantra Mahodhadhi.
the others are Shanti, Sthambhan, Vidvesan, Ucchatan and Maaran.
The last three are Taamasik karmas and invite repercusssion to the practioner. These (except the first -Shanti karma) fall into the Abhichaara category.
ofcourse a real good practioner will use the positive aspect of the Taamasik karmas for his spiritual progress (there are really few very rare Saadhaks who use this for spiritual upliftment). Like Sthambhana can be use on oneself for quietening the mad rush of thought in the mind, Ucchantan is used to stop people from disturbing his/her Saadhana, Vashikaran is used to attract higher Spiritual beings and to get their guidance for further progress.

In Jyotish the Bhaadhak plays a very important role to indicate Abhchaara as does the sixth Bhaava.  
I think we can map the Shadkarmas to the Grahas, but am not too sure of the mapping.

By Bhaadhak, did you mean badhaksthanastha griha, or badhasthanadhipati (L11, L7, L9 for Chara, Dwiswabhava, Sthira lagnas) or when this planet is also kharesh or otherwise malefic?

I liked your recommendation for "Uchchaatan"! I should use that more often, that way ;-)

I wish to bring at this moment on certain statement made by Bhadaka what Mr Vivekji referred. According to Sri B V Raman, while analysing the horoscope of a native, searching for influence of Black Magic, the bhadaka, is not only the bhadaka planet, but also a malefic planet, which gets more strength because of its ill placement in the horoscope. Not only that he while eloborating has said "Bhadaka, should not be confined only to bhadaka planet, but it is also that planet in the indiviudal horoscope, which creates an obstruction to the progress of the good planet or house, because of its malefic quality either natural or otherwise". This statement of Sri B V Raman , is very wide .


Secondly , coming to other post, the statement of Politicians cannot be taken on face value. But my intention to bring out such statement here , to make aware of the boarder, how astrology could be used to see whether one is under the influence of Black Magic, how that could be determined, what the Dictum says, and how one escapes from the influence of black magic.

Incidentally, I normally tell those people who visit me seeking help and information about the Black magic, that by Reciting the word "JAI HANUMAN" is itself the best panecea for not getting influenced by Black Magic.
