In Jyotish the Bhaadhak plays a very important role to indicate Abhchaara as does the sixth Bhaava.
I think we can map the Shadkarmas to the Grahas, but am not too sure of the mapping.

Hello Vivek (I am back again, pestering you )

By Bhaadhak, did you mean badhaksthanastha griha, or badhasthanadhipati (L11, L7, L9 for Chara, Dwiswabhava, Sthira lagnas) or when this planet is also kharesh or otherwise malefic?

I liked your recommendation for "Uchchaatan"! I should use that more often, that way

Namaskaar Rohiniranjan ji,
Thank you for not addressing me with 'ji'. I know you are not pestering me but keeping an eagles eye on me, for which i am ever grateful.
Yes Bhaadhak means badhak - strictly, it is the Bhaadhakesh (lord of Bhaadhak) as well as Bhaadhak sthana. Kharesh is the general of Raavana's army and has different useage as per my learning.
You are always trying to do uchchaatan to your surrounding but always fail because some  (few) people like me still get 'Sammohanised'.

Thanks Vivek! By kharesh I meant the lord of the 22nd drekkana (which some also extend to include the lord of the 64th navamsha).

And no, I am not keeping a watch over anyone, just on some interesting posts that catch my attention. No eagle here, but just an ant very close to the 'ground'!  ;-)

Namaskaar Rohiniranjan ji,
kharesh has a link to the eighth bhaava and so it would indicate suffering due to our own karma, in D-3 it would indicate the stuggle we have to put up to face this karmaphala and in D-9 it would indicate the bad luck we have to face due to this. these two have to be seen in the D-1 chart.
Khar was the general of Raavana's army and he had fought with Lord Raama with a huge army and was defeated, this hints at the remedy to overcome illeffects of Kharesh.

from discussing the Shadkarmas we have come to the various marga for realization. you said that you follow the Pipilika maarga, i had hinted at the Vihamgam maarga. I am reminded of a song in the film 'Sant Gyaneshwar' a Marathi film by Rajkamal production in the black and white era.
in it Sant Gyaneshwars younger sister Muktabai is singing-
Mungi oodaali Aakaashi, Teene Gillile Suryashi.
Iam very bad in translating, but here is my attempt (a very bland translation follows):
An Ant flew to the sky and swallowed the Sun whole.

Vivek,

Sorry I was not clear earlier. Let me try again. By referring to kharesh (which is the lord of the 22nd drekkana and indicative of mrityu [not literally, but a major malefic] I was referring to the adage that the Badhakesha planet is not by itself harmful (as some believe) but only if it has other malefic properties, including being the lord of the 22nd drekkana (Kharesh). Indeed if one tries to observe, one would find that while planets placed in badhaksthana are trouble-makers, lord of badhaksthana does not necessarily have such a property (unless afflicted).

That and I wanted to make sure that 'Bhadaka' as used in this thread was not something different from 'badhaka' {which you already clarified!}.

Anyway -- let us move on and not extend this thread just for the sake of it :-)
