Hi Rohiniji

I have have read your article for beginners on boloji.com and it sure helped me . Also i wouls like to mention that i began learning astrology using books by a Maharashtrian Jyotish Shri. V D Bhat. Now Rohiniji, this forum for sure has helped me. All i ask to thee is a way, method so that i may go ahead with my learning (plzz note i am located in Germany). Is it possible to learn (and i really mean learn in sense of Knowledge gain) on internet or is there any other way. I guess there might be a few others like me who r interested in learning but dont have a right path. Could you plzz throw some light on this matter and guide ur to some right direction or a teacher ......

Dear <<Name>>,

Thanks for asking me by <name>!

If you are really serious and sincere and jyotish is indeed so divine and karmically destined as many portray it to be, I am sure you and the few others you mention in your post will eventually see the path, just as I did, without a teacher or the benefit of a forum that is just a few key clicks away, some forty+ years ago!

That said, I believe there is a study group right here in this forum section. Perhaps you can explore that with the help of a moderator or teacher on this forum (I am neither of those, just a casual poster like you or others) who will be happy to guide you to the resources available on this forum.

What more can I say?

RR

Dear Dada,

Just a small objection from my side.

All you said is perfect. But I feel belittled when you call yourself a casual poster in this forum.
You are the silent teacher in this forum who teaches; in bits and scraps, without treading on the toes of the students, but pinching them sometimes.    The best teacher is one who teaches without being the leader.

I am sure the above is not entirely my feelings, but of some silent few too.

One of the best things that have happened to myself and my astrology is to have known you in the Mysticboards.

Respectfully,

RishiRahul

Dear RR,

Thanks for your affectionate words which touched my heart. My mind though still maintains that I am a casual poster (The 'Shrikanta' in me if you have read that epic novel by Sharatchandra!)!

Though raised in a bengali family, in central india (Hindi is my mother tongue, I still maintain!), at the age of 13 or 14, by my personal choice I decided to learn reading bangla script which amazingly (I have always been poor at picking up languages) I learned by myself in two days or so and then ploughed into my dad's leather-bound collection of Bankimchandra and Sharatchandra's collected works). Srikanta rang a MAJOR BELL with me. It was almost as if I was reading an autobiography from earlier times or something! My current life is totally different from what was depicted in that novel, but it is amazing what ends up touching your soul and in order to get to that, learning a new language, be it bangla or astrology never stands in the way!

That was my lesson and inspiration, if you must ask! What you need to know and connect to shall be provided from within! Gurus are not essential or required and often get in the way!!

RR

I so agree.....if we depend to much on a Gurus...we only become a bad clone.

But as an inspiration, which I think you are for RR and other, and with your "punch", (if they understand ) then I think you are doing a good job for an casual poster, even I read it
