the planet that has travelled highest degrees in a sign(out of 30deg) is aatmakarak.
for rahu to be atmakarak degrees has to be minimum bcoz it travels reverse.
ketu is weaker than rahu so only rahu is taken into account

based on aatmakarak's position in navamsa, minute predictions are done and this is jaimini's method

dear friend amanush , its easy use jhora and see which planet attend higest degree then he is ur atmakarak.

dasha or atmakarak if not well placed is challenging one.
