ARIES ASC, MAKARA RASI.

In my chart, which I have tried to analyze,  there are certain Problems that I have never solved to my satisfaction.

Mercury Lies at House 5, Leo, 7 53

It is hemmed by Sun at 16 58, Venus at 19 28, Jupiter at 1 05, Saturn at 22 48, and Rahu at 14 54,   all this littany of planets is in Leo only...!

Now, my question is what would the nature of mercury be in this position. Is it a benefic or a malefic...? It is joined by so many malefics and benefics that i'm quite unsure of what to classify it as.

And, when saying whether a planet is strong or weak, is the Shadbala value enough for all intents and purposes...? Or is there any subcomponent of Shadbala, or something that is not accounted for by shadbala, that is more important than shadbala. In other words can I use shadbala values to quantify planetary strengths for the majority, if not all prediction purposes...?

For example, almost all the planets in my Leo, seem to be combust, except Jupiter by God's grace...! Does it mean that whatever their shadbala value these planets are weak...? Please excuse my ignorance if shadbala also takes into a/c planetary combustion. I don't know about the meaning of its various components.

And the nature of beneficity or maleficity in one's chart,  also depends on lordship of various bhavas. If so, then would I be correct in classifying that
for my Mesha lagna, benefics are Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, and a waxing moon, and Malefics are Mercury, and Venus...?

Please, answer my questions as I'm interested in self-analysis of myown horoscope. It gives me some happiness to know more about myself, so please help....

If you are really serious, you should provide the following information on the reading forum:

Your full name (some jyotishis need it in their calculations, for others it is optional)

Your full birthdata, DATE, MONTH Spelled out since diff conventions exist, and YEAR (5.6.77 can be May 6th or 5th of June!)

Couple of full dates and events for the reader to finetune since astrology is not black and white!

Also the above builds up trust (I am sure you are familiar with Heisenberg's principle?).

The data is crucial because people use different ayanamshas and other coordinates and factors other than the one you have shared :-)

And actually, you should post your request on the reading forum because you want a reading and not a dice and slice surgical dissection of your chart and life, I hope, unless you are under anaesthesia!

Well...then I am sorry....because then it's my fault......I assumed that his first asking, which he posted in Reading forum, was more a discussion object then a reading request....so I take all the blame
It come some good general info from it after all!

Now "I seek the Truth" can post a new request in Reading forum with those info mentioned by RR.
