Is the view that Sade Sati or Ashtam shani for a makara rasi native is not that bad compared to similar transits for other signs...?

And since Mars is Saturn's enemy, how will be the effects of Ashtam Sani for a Makara rasi native with Aries ascendant...?

Does a strong Saturn in the chart, reduce or increase the effects of this transit...? Is Saturn in Leo (shadbala of 6.87) for such a native with Aries ascendant, a benefic or malefic for the native...?

how much will current Jupiter's transit through the 11th house for the above person help to reduce saturn's transit, if at all....?

also is there truth in astro remedies...? Is it not a pre-ordained event for us, and if so what logic is there in trying to mitigate ill-effects of one's horoscope...? If one can, then PLEASE show me how to do this, regarding pleasing Shani Maharaj....

I am the unfortunate soul whose chart is going through the above transits.

In my eyes looks this more like a discussion subject and not a Reading object.

It also seems to me that  " I seek the Truth" have some knowledge in the area

Since he is a new member, who we wish welcome to the site, we will allow him to come with the opening statement and after that those who find this subject of interest can attend the discussion.

In the end I hope "I seek the truth" might find the truth.....if that can be done in such an easy way.

thanks for welcoming me...!

I'm but a fledgling soul trying to learn more about myself through astrology. Like the true Arian soul, I'm still immersed in my own self like a newborn baby...! I haven't gathered any experience to merit such welcome in this august body.

But true to my Capricorn Moon, I have desire to learn. And ambition to one day understand myself fully in terms of Jyothish.

Whatever i asked about for on my chart is simply because I wish to know abt this transit for me, which seems to arouse conflicting opinions as to how much and what sort of effect it will have on me.  

As it concerns ME, I'm naturally hopeful that a functionally benefic and strong Saturn will harm me less than is usual, though his transit is going be the worst possible in any chart.

Regarding remedies I have read Rohiniji's article in Boloji and would like to know what his and others' opinion is on what sort of rememdial measures I can adopt.

Again i reiterate that i'm just a humble student learning my lines. that's all. I wrote these lines only because of the moderator's threat to allow the discussion only if I made an opening statement...!!! LOL...!

It is not saturn's relationship with the rashi it is transiting but the moon's relationship to the rashi/lord which saturn is transiting that will determine if the period (2.5 years at a time!) would be positive or negative!

Sadesati is about saturn adversely influencing (if, and not always!) the moon and not the rashi it is going through. And through the moon influencing the human being.

All astrological influences arise through the mind-moon even those that affect the body and surroundings! Moon is the I/O interface between the zona astrologica and zona terrestrialis!

Now hit the exercise books, go wild with a large number of charts and test the above. Too many mithais are bad for health!!

Dear I seek the Truth,

I liked the way to mentioned.....i am also in the same boat...searching for TRUTH/Promises/ACTUAL FACTS and RESULTS of my chart..

I got many readings from Kind and learned People out here and in some other forums..(I am greatful to them all) And at the same time some scoldings as well from learned people when i asked for truth!:-(  

I am also Capricorn Moon and Aries Acendant in my chart Lord Shani Maharaj is placed in 3rd house (in Retro mode) worst or best i do not now yet..he is aspecting Mars postioned in 9th house some say one of the best postion of Lagna Lord in 9thH next to him is Mother and Father together i.e. Sun and Moon in 10th House...

I am nither able to give happiness to my Mom and Dad nor do i am happy with the situation(s) that i am going thru:-(  

And lord Shani Maharaj is dispositor of almost all planets in my chart i.e. Sun+Moon+Mercury(R) in 10th

Jupiter+Venus in 11th House
Rahu in 8th Ketu in 2nd

Currently running Guru MD and Shani AD....
