To know the future and therefore change the future is a grave assumption. There are many more variables that not only make for your future probabilities but even the capacities within which you function. For many, even the inclination of thought-type contemplations are karmically inclined.
Astrology, in its most essential reference, is not about the future. Astrology is about the 'person'; the 'atma', its karmic blueprint and inventories, and its 'agenda' to resolve in this round of experience.
More is to be done after going to an astrologer. It is not just a matter of 'knowing' and therefore 'change'. What astrology first offers, is self-knowledge. For so long as the astrologer is himself still unlearned in the metaphysics of man, his consciousness, the making of his realities, the resolution of karmic effects, without counselling skills, he will not be able to be of transformative service enough because change starts with the self, from within.
Mohitbeniwalji, many have improved their lives with astrology. I am one of them. I have changed many areas of my life with my astrology, and it has been the main model in my making extremely superior decisions in life. With good balance, I apply it when I need to most.
I sincerely hope you will consider astrology as a very private weapon for your victories in everything you do. After all, management science today has openly thrown 'established' idea to the winds and is openly suggesting to top stewards of million-dollar organizations to 'think-out-of-the-box'. For this reason, I've been teaching Corporate Astrology for many years to industries.
With astrology, Mohitbeniwalji, you're already there.
May Your Stars Shine Bright Always
