Hi Dhruv,

Its great knowing that you have taken a keen interest in such research.
Do help us in providing the details of the charts; also keeping us informed of its source. It would be wonderful.

Thanking you,

RishiRahul

For instance: Gulika's dispositor -- particularly when it comes into contact with saturn in the relevant vargas signifies close attention, particularly when he happens to be atmakaraka. I will stop there for this is not intended to be a tutorial or a reading!

Dear Dada,

This is a novel statement from you, not fully understood, being limited in knowledge which you are rich in.

Sometimes I wonder why many desperately advantage seeking 'astrologers' make learning difficult. Just a thought.

Respectfully,

Your Bhai

Not sure if your message is addressing my original posting or some other message in this thread. If the former, and if you have taken the time to read some of the other messages, you will see that I was not concluding anything from that data. The point was to caution individuals who may be basing their calls on one planet, for instance moon in 7th or rahu in 7th giving this or that effect.

If it was a study on marriage and 7th house and planets therein or even a reading for these individuals, naturally one would be looking at many things, including the navamsha but not navamsha alone as I am sure you must know. I am kind of surprised at your response!

Rishi,

I don't know their reason for doing so!

I have always been taken by dispositors and the final dispositor theory propounded by Rattanlal has been of great interest too.

The dispositor of a house lord often gives good insight into the manifestations of the house etc.

It may be treated as the executor, at times -- particularly when the houselord is indisposed.

Dispositors of Gulika and the nodes (when they do not have a lordship over scorpio/aquarius) are important negative forces.

Dada,

You are correct regarding the dispositor thing which is essentially Vedic astrolohy too. There is a book by J.N. Bhasin--Dispositors in Astrology.

This theory is very logical. Ratan Lalls matter should be similar or same lines.

Dispositors of nodes, when they do not get lordship of Scorpio and Aquarius respectively, or Gulika's dispositor, if coonnected with Atmakaraka is expected to give bad results for the native; or makes the native evil.

Which one, I am not sure.

Your bhai.
A very common premise in jyotish/astrology
