OK!!!! This is the only thing that makes sense in my case, as i m on my way to self-chosen sphinsterhood...."22 never got married"(moon in 7th)...now that's a high number in relation to others mentioned on there. Sounds abt right!!!
Ashna-ji,
A wise individual once said as he was stepping out of a prayer meeting,"Just because it fits my foot, does not make it my shoe!".
I am afraid that that moon in 7th, though according to BPHS the strongest indicator of the 7th in the chart, and despite being not shadbala challenged, and vargottama etc probably deserves closer scrutiny and that was exactly the point I was trying to make.
For instance: Gulika's dispositor -- particularly when it comes into contact with saturn in the relevant vargas signifies close attention, particularly when he happens to be atmakaraka. I will stop there for this is not intended to be a tutorial or a reading!

RRji, offcourse POINT-TAKEN!! I was just relaying my bit of information..i didn't mean to interfere in a discussion between two experts. All i am saying is that moon in 7th could mean no marriage at all, becus i truly feel i am heading towards that. When a person feels so much towards something, nothing can come in the way. When ur data showed a higher probability of no marriage in relation to others, it made me wonder a bit. Yes a closer scrutiny is always needed.

Ashna ji,
Not sure which two experts you were talking about <RR, sheepishly looking left and right and center too! Forty some years of direct observation and counting waiting for the expert, let alone two to arrive ...>
About moon and those who by cosmic synchrony are born to the tune of the moon (prominent in some way in their chart) -- it is often seen that the adage that applies could be stated as: Water takes the shape of the vessel it is placed in. If the vessel should change in its shape, so would the water that it holds within.
In other words, unless I am mistaken, the rashi <container/vessel> may seem to define the moon in a chart or a lifetime experienced, but moon being what it is, rapid, flexible and watery, perhaps enjoys the most potential flexibility in a nativity's experience as it meets the different vessels in a nativity's human experience, namely, the different vargas...?
If being human is the same as 'adapting', then indeed moon is the key! Certain schools of astrology have been drilling that home for oh some thousands of years...
That said, please let me remind you all that knowing ones moon cannot be done if you are approaching the Ocean armed with a sieve! It will understandably take a long long time if one were trying to empty the ocean with such a porous container!
