I thank you for the correction. I don't know how I was so careless as to insert the word 'direct'. I found this mistake only today. I fully agree with your view that direct or retrograde motion has nothing to do with combustion.

Having said that, I would not make a hasty judgment that just having the exaltation dispositor (which also happens to be the 8th lord, not to mention many other considerations which at this time are not known to anyone other than you!) in kendra from debilitated planet automatically cancels the debility <even partially> in this case just based on a suggested dictum :-)

It is always best to not discuss a horoscope piece-meal over several days and succumb to the staccato nature of such a discussion. Won't you agree?

Debilitation is cancelled due to 2 factors:
1. When the dispositor is in a quadrant ( 1,4,7 & 10 houses ) either from the Ascendant or theLunar Ascendant.(True for both cases)
2. When the exaltation dispositor is in a quadrant either from the Ascendant or the Lunar Ascendant(This is not true here? correct me if i am wrong? because the exaltation dispositor is in the 3rd house right )(anyone)
3. Moon also aspecting the Mer in the 4th through the quadrant. So that would be a Neechabhanga too.

How many Neechabhanga Yogas does it take to briing the debilitation fully to zero.? 1 or 2 or more?

Neechabhanga doesn't really mean auspiocious deeds guranteed, instead we can be sure that nothing bad will happen to some what degree. Can expect some delays i quess..

Novice or pro, the best and most satisfying way to figure these questions out is to actually look at charts and study them. The more you ask around, the more answers and opinions you will get. I know the other way is more convenient (just like fast food or TV dinners are convenient as compared to cooking from scratch the old fashioned way!).

But you must decide how hungry you really are! Or just peckish ;-)
