Dear Learned Experts...

Is it possible for a moon in Gemini to have 22degrees and be waxing instead of wanning?
Because when the moon enterd gemini it could have been in about 10degrees initially. Then in would mean it will be waxing at 22degree on the the birtch chart...
Any obejections?
How do u tell by looking at the birth chart if the moon is waxing or waning?
How to find whether Moon is waxing or waning, in a chart.

Find where Sun is in the Chart. Let us call this point as X. Calculate the point exactly 180 degrees away from the luminary and call it Y. Full Moon occurs when Moon is at Y. New Moon occurs when Moon is in conjunction with Sun at X.

The line XY divides the chart into two parts. If Moon is below XY, it is waxing. If it is above XY, it is waning. In other words, if Moon is approaching Y, it is waxing. If the luminary is approaching X (has left Y), it is waning!

Because of its distance from and motion around the earth and effects of the Sun on it; the Moon undergoes waxing and waning. It is most auspicious when it attains maximum size on full moon day and is most inauspicious when it has the minimum size on the new moon day. For in-between days, the closer it is to the full moon, more auspicious it is and closer it is to the new moon, more inauspicious it is. Therefore from Shukla Paksha Ashtami to Krishna Paksha Ashtami it is regarded as a benefic planet and from Krishna Paksha Ashtami to Shukla Paksha Ashtami it is regarded as a malefic planet. For this reason the moon has also been called a semi benefic planet.

I thought Luna was only malefic if she were in her apogee.
