Dear Scholars,

A chart with eight planets in aspect, 2 planets in 1 and 10, 1 planet in 4, 5, 6, 7, 11. I take it 8 planets are aspecting each other. Is there any significance at all to this?

Yes it has a very definite meaning simply because it is not seen in all or most charts!

But please tell us what you understand by aspects? What do they indicate, and please don't hesitate from writing a few lines unlike your typical precis style of writing ;-)

You're the expert, so you ought to be writing a few lines explaining "aspects" and the rest, instead of asking us to! This isn't fair.

Anyway, this is what I understand: if planets a and b are aspecting each other, it means they influence each other, and the sign they're in. They work together most of the time, and during planet a's dasa, planet b is also involved, and vice versa.

This is all I understand, and I hope you can tell us more.

Garga Hora states such combintions, but depending on the planets forming the combinations. I have the book, but fail mostly to find the logic behind it.

Therefore the planetary positions would help answer better.

By the way is the picture showed at the left hand side your face ( I mean photo)?

I've also read a few things on this, and I am aware that it depends on the planets. But is it common to have 8 planets in mutual aspect (irrespective of the planets involved) as well as 6 in rasi drsti? I believe it's the case with the horoscope I talked about in the first post, 2 planets in meena lagna and 10th, 1 each in 4, 5, 6, 7, 11.
