Please allow me to intrude! May I?

It is not about language, but its use and the purpose why it is being used!

I am very feebly familiar with sanskrit (poor schooling :-( I confess!

My father was extremely well-versed in English, French and Sanskrit and really tried to teach me those. Maybe his methods were not sophisticated, so I ended up being poor in all three of those languages and learned quite well hindi and even enough urdu to get by a lot of shayari ;-)

Strange as it may sound (or not!) I ended up in a country where both English and French are essential for progress! And I am passionate about something that was originally expressed in Sanskrit!

For me, the lesson has been simple: ONE MUST LISTEN TO THEIR PARENTS EVEN WHEN THEY DO NOT SEEM TO MAKE SENSE, given the DESH, KAAL, TIME!

I hope you can see the IRONY in that? IT IS A TRUE ACCOUNT, though!
