I would like to learn the techniques of determining the personality and looks of one's spouse.

From which of the following method can one analyse such results:

1. 7th house
2. lord of 7th house
3. Upapada Lagna

And more importantly HOW can one learn such information?

how about spouse-pada classically named 'dara pada' which some in modern times have called kalatra-pada to get beyond gender-specificity?

And don't forget that the navamsha kundali is almost undisputably accepted as the varga related to marriage and related matters (jeeva, dhatu, moola)!

Is this all too confusing or should we follow the standard dictum of picking the strongest of the indicators and see if that describes the spouse? I would request though to not limit yourself to the "looks" but more, since beauty is not only skin deep, it is also different as the eyes and gonads see it, as opposed to the heart and soul...!

Do you remember the allegory of Laila and Majnu? Laila, they say was not beautiful, but Majnu was looking at her from his heart and soul ...!

Your idea is good for making calculations by the navamansha,in these days doctors,making fast and give breath before birth,then how is possible to make right time of navamansa,there are a time to re think about the birth time and make right calculations of the navamansa.Birth Lagan is batter,there are possibilities to make calculations within two and one fourth hours.

You did not quote a message but assuming that you responded to my posting, allow me to remind you that a navamsha lasts for several minutes so it is not so bad. A shiver goes up my spine when I hear otherwise knowledgeable sounding people toss around nadiamshas and shastiamshas like pop-corn and claim to rectify birthtimes to the jiffy (1/60th of a second!)!
