Manglik is when Mars is posited in the lagna, 2nd,4th,7th,8th and 12th. houses.
It makes a person, tempermental, in sex volatile having high lows and highs, and an agressed personality.

Manglik is a temperamental defect.

Due to the position and strength of other planets the manglik effects can be neutralised but I do not believe it can be totally erradicated.

50% of the entire population is a manglik.  

Manglik, again is mot such a very big issue as unnecessarily magnified. Again if a manglik gets married to a manglik, the dosha is said to nullify.

Again Manglik thing has also been given more that its actual importance by astrologers to scare people too and  more than is necessary for obvious reasons.

When clients come with a divorced situation, they blame the manglik situation.

When they come together again they say its a cancellation.
It is important, but not so much as to scare people.

 Yes Mangliks certainly are all those things...but i am not one. Venus is my lagna and i also did my chart and found out that mars is in 3rd house for me:)
Mangliks are high-strung and usually very attractive and very ambitious....my lover is manglik and this matches him...but his is leo ascendent so it gets nullified.
 I think ur using a different system or are getting the am/pm wrong. I am
surprised abt this manglik thing....but ya i know i am not one. PLz recheck and see for urself...my mangal is in 3rd house.
 Some of the most famous ppl in the world are mangliks....yes Aiswarya Rai...Sania Mirza...rumours abt Rekha as well. If you have mangal in 8th or 12th house, chances of spouse dying is high...they say this.
