Praveenji,
I have not seen her chart yet. I also heard that she is Manglik.

Rahulji,
I got a chance to see the hand of Abhishek Bachchan in a movie. In his left hand the relationship line is curving downwards. And Aishwarya Rai is Maglik and hence probably Abhishek Bachchan got married after 31 when the effect of Mangal dilutes considerably. Your comments welcomed.

Manglik Dosha is the dosha in the person's nature too. I wonder if the nature alters with age!
Sometimes Manglik Dosha can cause the death of the partner, and in this case it is a natural blemish.
This is too general to comment better.

Back in the 60s and 70s when jyotish was learned and practiced in more 'innocent' climes (for which I am ever grateful, really!) mangal dosh was clearer. It was associated with ill-health and possibly demise of spouse that did not have a balancing mangal dosh!
Over the years and decades nuances and elaborations developed and now mangal dosh has grown to such proportions that even kal sarpa yoga (also not as big a deal then, as it is now!) or kemadruma have been put to shame in a sense and tasked to get their sad profiles UP and GOING if they are even going to be subjects of articles and books in the jyotish realm (The gold standard).
Interestingly, in the 60s and 70s there was a lot less emphasis on remedies or the concept that every thing can be FIXED if enough money was poured into the cause (Many governments work on that principle!).
That was the 60s and this is the -- well ... 20s!
Perhaps a lot has changed since then ...!
I am not the village bell-hop!
Any accidental "noise-making" that I may be responsible for is purely incidental, unintentional and -- I was just passing by the CHURCH and happened to touch the bell-cord!
My apologies if I end up yanking any chains (or bell-ropes?)
Peace!

[quote="RishiRahul"]Manglik is when Mars is posited in the lagna, 2nd,4th,7th,8th and 12th. houses.
It makes a person, tempermental, in sex volatile having high lows and highs, and an agressed personality.
Manglik is a temperamental defect.
Due to the position and strength of other planets the manglik effects can be neutralised but I do not believe it can be totally erradicated.
50% of the entire population is a manglik.
Manglik, again is mot such a very big issue as unnecessarily magnified. Again if a manglik gets married to a manglik, the dosha is said to nullify.
Again Manglik thing has also been given more that its actual importance by astrologers to scare people too and more than is necessary for obvious reasons.
When clients come with a divorced situation, they blame the manglik situation.
When they come together again they say its a cancellation.
It is important, but not so much as to scare people.
The above are my views on Mangliks. May I request the views of other astrlogers like RohiniRanjanji, Astrobhadauriaji, Virinchiji, Milindji, Sethiji and others.

To ALL,
I did forget to mention that Mangal dosha also may mean loss spouse through death.
This generally happens, or so I think, particularly when Mars is in the 8th. house. The temparamental defect probably happens when Mars asuares or aspects the ascendant or the 7th. house.
Any research on this, with practical charts could aid a research.
Thank you RoohiniRanjanji,
RishiRahul
