It must be a sad day when being thankful to the Great Mother is seen as an indication of greatness (महानता) and not what it truly is! Quite the opposite of महानता!

I realize that there is a lot of negativity in this world and it can bring even saints down in spirit, but there is always the choice of focusing on the positive and not the negative. And that is not escapism or denial. None of us can single-handedly reverse the tide of times or the prevailing negativity. Such aspirations are born out of arrogance and arrogance itself is born out of the womb of insecurity impregnated by misplaced trust!

The full moon brings joy and effusiveness to many a hearts, the newmoon brings despair to the fore. And yet, think for a second -- it is the same 'moon' at newmoon or full moon. What differs is the light and that has nothing to do with the moon, but the SUN!

Life is full of illusions like these and one of them includes the one that was discussed two paragraphs earlier!

And please do not blame the modern parents who may feel at times that daughters are liabilities and not blessings. It is the society around them that makes them feel so due to the EXTRA TAXES and TAXATIONS placed on parents of daughters! And this is not recent or NEW. It is the same society that happily and not too many decades ago made sure that the widow was burnt alive when her husband died. No widower ever was forced by the same society to die similarly! The society ruled by a handful of individuals in power due to other people's superstitious ignorance and resulting cowardice have always been the culprit through generations and so it is hypocritical to blame parents of daughters when society and its self-appointed officers of morality and conscience had been the ones who should have been blamed and fingers pointed at them and their activities censured!

I am new to this forum and I need a little help regarding my understanding of my horoscope. And after reading all the blogs, I feel that there cannot be a better person that yourself to help me with this.
I saw my horoscope and found that my seventh house is Scorpio and moon sits there (which means that my chandrama is neech ).  Hence my lagna is Taurus. Moreover Saturn ( Saturn is in fifth house with Mars) also aspects this moon. Please tell me the consequences of such a state of affair in my married life.
