There is a potential for confusion in the way you asked the question, hence I clarify!
It is not as if ayanamsha is country specific! If you are using the nirayana zodiac (for jyotish or for western sidereal astrology -- Yes Virginia, they exist!), this should ideally not change with the country! That said, there are many variations in use and boldly claimed to be the best by the proponents and supporters! They span over a few degrees at least although more extreme values have also been claimed without adequate demonstration. The jury is out, in other words.
If you are serious about exploring this, try this protocol:
Take a chart with very good quality accurate birthdata (no birth complications and one of the parent present at birth and noted the first breath or cry of the baby using a calibrated watch! Generally speaking if the parent is an astrologer!!). Then try different ayanamshas and dasha durations (327 to 365 d/yr -- it is an important variable) and see which one gives the best and most direct results when the events are matched. Choose events carefully. Marriage, childbirth, death, sudden accidents, major illnesses, significant loss or gain of money are good ones, spiritual realization and similar experiences and jobs are not good ones in current reality!).
Yes, the protocol is tedious but the other option is continuing and perpetual confusion! Yours to choose!
