Arudha means who is sitting on the throne of your body,like a king,here is meaning of "Soul",type of soul like human soul,animal soul,bird soul,deity soul etc.
Up pada means who is working in suport when the lord of your Asc Vakri,asta or in the troubles with bad stars.like a directer,genral manager,manager etc.

Your A rudha lagna is Vrischika and your upapada is mesha.

Can the experts please help us in this?

Do the same rules as Arudha Lagna apply for Upapada Lagna?
In the sense that, for me, the arudha of my 12th house is coming up as the 6th house which is 7th to it. So, should I tak the 10th house from 6th?
