How can you tell who is the lord of what house? I understand that certain planets "rule" certain houses. Does that mean that is the lord? Can you please exlain?

If I were to even tell you how much debt I am in, you would probably have a heart attack.
Will I ever be out of it? Will I ever be able to pay it all back?

So, the Lord of the 6th house in this case is Taurus, (it must change then from chart to chart) based on the ascendant in the chart?

That means that the Venus is in Taurus, which should be my planet of HAPPINESS and love which would be good becuase it is the lord of it's own house, but ends up being prevented because it is in the 6th house. There fore happiness is prevented from being sick and having debts?

Then, that is COMPUOUNDED to made even worse that Ketu is there as well?
On top of that Mecury plays in and screws with me even more?

Is that right?
