This is a subject about which i always wanted to discuss but felt bit shy to ask such a basic question but recently a question asked by a doctor answered by Vamsee about his clinic and later mentioning this question i got really tempted to ask this question. All the senior members please do reply to this question.

A. My main question is behaviour of rahu and ketu in a house.What are the main considerations about behaviour of them in a particualar house.

B. I hav read that the state and placement of the lord of house and the planet and aspects drives the behaviour of rahu and ketu.Is that true?

C. Has rahu and ketu got their independent behaviour in a house irrespective of the state of lord of house ?If yes , WHAT ARE THOSE BEHAVIOUR(especailly in 12th house coz thats the house rahu is supposed to be v. bad or v. good) ??

D.It is said rahu is malefic (or benefic ) in so and so  house ??how cum it can said without knowing about ascendant or anything else about the lagna kundli.

E. Are  considerations for derivations of the rahu and ketu behaviour is different from the considerations for any other planet.

F. Am i asking too many questions .

Raman there is nothing called as too many questions, it is better to be thought of as a fool for one minute by asking so many questions than remain a fool for life without asking any questions.

These questions were something which I was also thinking about. & Honestly I didn't know how to ask them. Why today morning I was thinking about making a post & asking other members to explain about Navamsha.

I am no expert, but will reply here anything about ur questions, If I do find anything.

since Rahu and Ketu are Chhaya Graha (Shadow Planet), their effects are also different than those of other Planets.
There is a general saying about Rahu and Ketu,
"SHANI VAT RAHU, KUJA VAT KETU" means (Rahu behaves like Saturn while Ketu behaves like Mars) but this is partially true or one can say that it is a general observation. These Planets can change their way of functioning as per the house or effects of Planets.

Rahu with follwing Planets can give different Effects,

With Sun - Though it is Grahan Yoga, can place Native as top official, but may create problem with father
With Moon - Again it is bad Yoga, makes Native short tempered and lack of Concentration leading to Loss every where.
With Mars - Good Player, Athelete, Gangster (If with Bad Planets/Badly Placed), Politician (Sun and other houses should be taken in consideration)
With Mercury - Writer, Publisher (Uranus Effect is needed), Chess Player (Saturn Effect is needed), Mental Gymnast, Medicinal Knowledge. With bad or retrogade Mercury Memory Loss or Brain related problems.
With Venus - Bad Character, Relations with elderly people, Good Photographer, Artist, Cameraman, Inter Religion Marriage/Affairs.
With Saturn - Cruel, Cunning, Diplomat, Sharp, Gangster (Mastermind), Cold Bloded. Tantrik, Mantrik, Knowledge of Black Magic etc.

These are general obeservations about Rahu.
Rahu is powerful in 3rd, 6th, 10th and 11th House. In 12th House also it is powerful but it makes Native, weak financially because of Legal hassles. He/She ventures in business but gets troubles and losses in it. But after age of 36, this Rahu neutralises and gives good effects.

If Rahu is not well placed in Horoscope or it is making 1-6, 1-8, Kendra Combinations with Planets like Sun, Saturn, Mars then Rahu Mahadasa makes Native weak from all sides, Native faces problems on all fronts.

I hope this is enough information about Rahu. Next time We will discuss about Ketu.

you mentioned rahu with all the planets but how about rahu with jup?
lets say in the 3rd(rahu with jup) . and third house is sag.?

It gives result to Guru Chandaal yoga.Which is traditionally cosidered bad irrespective of the lagan.
Though jupiter in its own house he may get a good guidance during his/her mistakes.
