I have gone back to not being able to receive email notifications to posts, which I am following. This happened before too and I was told to get a non-hotmail email account. Surely that can't be the case as I am not the only one who has hotmail!! The problem sorted itself in the past, but now it is back again. Any help as to why I am not being notified by email? I am aware of the tick at the end of each post and I never touch them, unless I really dont want to be bothered with a particular topic.

I have other email accounts, but I prefer hotmail with Live Messenger as it automatically notifies me of new emails.

Any help please?

It is a strange thing....but I know you and 1 more have problems with it.

Can I please request you to go to your CP (up on tittle beside "my Blog") and see that email notifications stay with yes....in case something strange have happen to it.
(I know you both have had it on, most likely it is on....but only to be sure)

It has always been on Yes. But I did go just now and it was on Yes again.
Just to trick the system I put it on No and then put it on Yes and submitted.
May be it may work?

Not so sure though.

I just did a test on this (email notification) and it worked.

I typed a different email address but did not change the password. I went to Submit the new email address but the system did not accept it because I had not confirmed my password. It presented to me with my old email address, but this time I did not change anything;  I simply went and Submitted again. I sent myself a Private Message and I got email notification.

I hope this works for you too Pravin, but I know you will not be notified of this posting..... :(
