Please bear with me, as I am a computer newby and even less adept at handling forum pages.

I understand from other answers that there is no way to post a picture on your blog directly from your computer. Is that the same for posts?

I've tried posting pictures directly from my PC (it's a Mac, actually) and they are way too huge. I don't know how to resize them so that they look normal on the thread.

I tried the image shack thing but I get absolutely lost when trying to Ctrl C, then go back (a long way!) to my post and then try to Ctrl V because nothing happens.

I would be extremely grateful for some basic, step by step advice from any of you comp wizards. Thanks!

Thank you, Rhutobello, it really did help. I followed the EarlofLeicester advice step by step and managed to do it through image shack.

I believe that, for posting on a thread, I can attach directly from the Mac. The only problem is resizing the images to fit the page, but I think I'm getting there.

True, you get a more clean image this way in less space, so I'll keep on with this. But it did take me a while to figure it out! I really envy all you high tech people out there ;D
