The immediate feeling I got with the Lovers card is not one of that he has found the love of his life, but that he has made some decisions and choices. That could be related to love, or that he may have met someone or that he needed to make a choice on a different path in his life where he sees himself at the doorstep of new beginnings. May be has found ‘love’ in a new career, a new project or even something that he had been waiting for and was not within his reach. The Ace of Pentacles indicates to me a new such beginning which for him may be a lot more important than a relationship. I also see that this guy needs a rebirth in his life and cleansing of the cobwebs and coming into terms with his past and looking forward with a clean slate. I do not feel this has or had anything to do with you personally, but I feel this is something related to his inner psyche and one that he has to sort by himself. The Judgement card is one that tells me this has had a past or a life full of upheavals, mistakes and tribulations. I feel his priority is now to start afresh for himself and see life under a new light. Unfortunately, you have become the victim of his search of personal and spiritual cleansing and for that I should probably let him be and try not to be too hurt by it – easier said than done?
