How long does a tarot reading last for?
meaning how long does it take for the events to manifest?
ive herd some say months, a year, 2-3 years ect.

in other words
when a reading is done and all the events and advice that was said should be completed in by what time frame?

it would depend on the reading and the spread being used for a time frame.
simply, there is no right or wrong answer to this question.  it is not set in stone it is something you make for that reading.  just know what time frame you are reading for before you start the reading.  just think about about the time frame.  i want this spread to indicate 6 mos, 1yr etc  but know what that is before start the reading.  now, keep in mind that certain spreads may not be good for time frame type of reading.  
i just made up a spread for someone and for the time frame of the whole summer therefore before i started the reading i knew i was looking at a time frame.

Humm...maybe you have a to big confidence in Readings...maybe you believe that life is laid out for us...and you just want to have some news in beforehand?  

Let me ask you some question....they are made not only for you...but for seekers in general.

If life was pre-made in such a way that any Reading tool could tell you what should happen in near future, would your life then depend on who read for you ?

If you asked "When do I meet my """Partner"" and the Reader told you that you had a good chance inside a 3 month's window.....what would you do? sit and wait???...or go out and try to find the partner??...if you did the first...the Reading would fail...if you did the last...you might succeed.

If you asked " When do I get a Job"                -----------"""""----------------------------------""""..................................same as above--------------------------------------"""----------------------------------a job???-"""---------------------------------------------"""-------------------"""-------------------------

So if we agree with the above, then we can conclude that our life is created in every sec of our day.....if we have goals and are active in our life....possibilities open up for us....IF we are passive and hope that Fate through Readings shall control our life, then we might loose out many opportunities, and feel that life is hard to us.....WE are our owns  "Happy smith"....be sure to use any Readings as a seed to fulfil if you would like the outcome...or to neglect if the Reading was not what you hoped it would be....in your life there is only one person who really can control you, and that is YOU!

I have a beliefe that life is and is not predetermined.

All the major events in ones life are bound to happen, but all the people, places, objects jobs ect ect
alternate depending on what decisions and direction you take in your path. The over all outcomes are the same though.
Just changing people, places, things ect gives us the illusion that we have total control, when in reality we do have control over many things in life. This person or that person, this job or that job but major outcomes and fateful unions are bound to happen, other wise giving readings does not make any sense. As well it explains why events seem to come true in readings but timing and details change very often.

This is based on Kabbalistic principles which is something that I truly and instinctually connect with.
thanks for your input though, I use readings for myself more so to balance my energy and slow down my thought process.
