Hello Notes,
We may not be able to answer the timing aspect of your request, but I will look at it in general terms asking the emphasis to be on your employment situation.
Sometimes I try and connect with the querent on an energy (psychic/clairvoyant) level and see what visions I get. Some of these can be symbolic and you would be the only person to decipher their meaning.
I tried to connect with you and saw you kneading dough on a worktop, sort of flattening it with the palm of your hands, giving it shape, before putting it in the oven. I don’t know what is the symbolism of this, but where I come from this indicates busy hands, busy at work, being creative and also brining in the money, because without money you wont be able to have the bread on the table. So, this is where I am seeing you in the window of my mind.
I also had a glimpse of you at a sewing machine, the manual ones, which you work by pushing the pedal with your feet. You were sewing something. I really don’t see what you are sewing but this is yet another indication for work in progress, production, meeting the requirements.
Both above visions have some indication towards a form of work that you are or will soon be involved in.
I will use a Vocational spread and see what messages we get.
I am using the Rider Waite deck.
What is going on in your job/life now? Three of Pentacles.
To me this gives the feeling that you are trying to prove yourself to your surroundings, to potential employers, showing them what you can do and what you are qualified at. This is definitely a situation of a job in the making, but it feels as though you are having to prove yourself, whether those are interviews or sending applications or networking. I see this as a positive card and would indicate to me the act of being employed – sooner or later.
What you want? Six of Swords.
You wish to go away from your worries and the let down’s of the past and aim for calmer waters. Things that have not worked for you, you wish to leave them behind and embrace new horizons. This could even be a journey of some sort, whether physical, mental or spiritual. This card depicts a woman sitting in a boat, with a child to her side, six swords in front of her and she is being rowed to an island nearby where the sea is calmer and the island offers new prospects.
What you need to focus on? King of Wands.
There is a person in your life, Fire sign, who could be in his early fifties to early sixties. He is a charismatic person; he is good at whatever he deals with by way of business, creativity and new ideas. He is someone who could have the keys for your possible employment or someone whose advice and help would be beneficial for your current needs. Being a fire sign, he can be passionate at what he does and he has no qualms about his charm on others in the way he carries himself. If there is someone who befits this description (or someone who may come into your life soon) perhaps it would be advisable for you to focus on what he has to offer to you whether it is advice, guidance or support.
What blocks you? (hidden factors): Six of Cups.
Cups belong to the element of water and they speak of our feelings and emotions. The Six of Cups, as portrayed by a young man giving a cup full of flowers to a young lady whilst there are five other cups in the forefront with flowers in them. This is the card of nostalgia; how things were, or you wished things were and a dreamy nostalgia of what would have been or how would things have been......The danger for staying too long in this state of mind is obvious as it will cut you off the reality of life only clinging on to things which were good once, but are no longer there. There is yet another way of looking at this situation and that may be the desire to find employment and yet having possibly unrealistic ideas or even ideals of the kind of job you might like to do. Perhaps it may be good to become a little more pragmatic and leave emotions out this.
Your Talents: The Sun.
A major Arcana card which shows a young boy riding a horse in the nude with sunflowers in the background over the garden fence and the sun shining bright in the sky above. I immediately get the feeling that you perhaps undermine yourself in what you can do or where your talents lie. Whilst the blockage as portrayed above may be one that should be ruled by high emotions, but as for your talents, you have a bright and agile mind and can be good at anything. You have courage, creativity and good communication skills.
What you are in need of? (Advice/help): Two of Swords.
We see a woman here, sitting on an stone bench with the sea behind her and a waning (crescent) moon in the sky. She is blindfolded and is holding two swords upwards sort of crossing her chest. She knows the facts and yet she refuses to see and speak out lest the outcome is not to her liking. This is the stalemate card which indicates a situation which has come to a halt and the only way forward is to remove those blindfolds and look ahead and see the truth or even speak the truth. The stalemate situation can go on for as long as you choose not to see the truth (which in your heart you know already) and moving ahead accepting all consequences. Sometimes the truth is seen and spoken, we realise that it was not as bad as it seemed to us. Perhaps it is time you removed the blindfold and got up from that bench and looked ahead and, if need be, face the truth.
Near Future, if things stay as they are: Knight of Cups.
Well, what can I say? Another water sign which to me says exaggerated feelings and emotions. Although the knight of cups represents a person, but I feel in your case it may indicate the qualities and characteristics of this person. If things stay as they are and advice not followed, I feel the situation will just be a sentimental one as our knight is most of the time. He can sink into extreme emotions and has a tendency of being dreamy and romantic about aspects of life around him. He views everything with a sense of emotional-philosophical outlook rather than pragmatic and a realistic one – unlike the King of Wands.
Whilst you wish to get away from your current situation (position 2) and whilst there is advice to focus on a stronger person in your life (position 3), there is a situation here which tells me perhaps there have been too many emotional entanglements about your work situation from within yourself. You do have great talents, but there is need to break down the chains that are holding you back. Unless these chains are broken, the future could possible dwindle to be an emotional roller-coaster of what you wished and how you wished things would be.
I know your question was about a timing – when – but this reading has hopefully given you the insights to answer some of the core issues around you where job/employment is concerned.
I hope this has resonated with you and I look forward to hearing from you.
My very best wishes to you.
