I saw this spread the other day and I really liked it, it seems like a good fit for a general reading. Here you go, I truly hope it's useful to you.

1. The Illusion that holds you back - The World - The World is a powerful card that often means assured success and perfection, however in this position it indicates a false sense of completion. Perhaps there is something in your life that you believe is a guaranteed and iron-clad, but in fact it has a rotten core. Given the potency of this Major, I fear it may be something important to you.

2. Obstacles to beware of - Judgement - Another potent card, Judgement often refers to repentance, forgiveness, and accounting for unfairness. In this position, Judgement is admonishing you to release the grudges you may be holding, and to apologize and ask for forgiveness where you may have wronged another. It is important now to carefully consider the impact of your actions on others. You may inadvertently hurt someone else, or someone else may hurt you -- the important thing is to get the issue out in the open so that both of you can forgive, forget, and move on.

3. Those things that are passing out of your life - Knight of Pentacles - The Knight of Pentacles represents a capable laborer or businessman. He is the driving energy of the Pentacles which are typically concerned with material responsibilities. This energy is beginning to move out of your life, you may feel like it's time for you to focus on other aspects of your life. Or it may simply indicate that you need a vacation! Given the next card, I believe the Knight of Pentacles may be advising you to let yourself enjoy the fruits of your labor.

4. Things to hold on to or pursue - Queen of Pentacles - The Queen of Pentacles is rich and generous. With the previous card, it looks like you have the opportunity to relax for a time, to share and give back, and to simply enjoy what you've worked so diligently for.

5. What is coming towards you - Six of Swords - The card of travel. You are headed for a journey -- It may be physical (hopefully a vacation!), but it may also be emotional or spiritual. Given the previous cards, it may very well be both.

I used the Universal Waite deck.

There is only one thing that came to my mind really that I believe to be set in stone but am not sure if it is or not.  Except I don’t feel at all that it is set in stone I know I will have issues or at least has issues with it that I don’t want to deal with. I will keep an ideal for something like this and see if I have to questions something that I thought was good to go.  I just thought of something else and that probably is more true than the first think I thought of.



This is almost dealing with two people I know right now.  One person as IM on facebook two days in a row which is odd for him and the second person is my Ex who I find an email in my box last night after I got reading this. Both of these two has done me wrong so it has taken me effort sometimes to talk to them as if they see nothing wrong that they have done. The Ex is not that much of an issue for me anymore it took me longer to forgive myself then I need I felt to forgive him.  I just wanted to move and have him stop treating me wrong or doing things that were. And the first the person I am still really annoyed at and I know I need to let it go but that is something that I am working on.  The two days he IM me I almost brought the part up where I am annoyed with him too. The first time he IM we did talk about a mutual friend and how he hurt him.  I am annoyed because I had to clean up the emotional havoc he created and how he hurt my friend for no good reason really.  I would feel better if I thought him to how I felt, I am sure although at this point I don’t need friends like that and might have to decide to just move on.


I have been fighting to get my life back big time and stop taking care of anyone else and putting my needs aside as if they are not as important as theirs.  I have just gain my home back and I am living alone after my roommate of two years moved up because he was not finically able to maintain his own home now and doesn’t need my help anymore. .


That is my goal is to relax with what I have before I have to make some needed changes. I truly hope I get a chance to enjoy.


i have never seen this card as a "card of travel" so that was interesting to think about.  just thought that you are moving away from something... that's a new thought in my head for this meaning of this card.

but back to the reading:  i can only hope a that vacation of travel or even a higher level in a spiritual growth would be nice to.
