| Thank You for your response. She found it to be fairly accurate. Especially that it appears that there is alot of deception going on around her. It has caused her great stress for the last year. I used Rider-Waite cards and didn't use a particular spread, I just layed out 9 cards in rows of 3. Something in my gut told me to do it that way so I followed it. I think the thing we are still confused about is is it the ex, the current bf or someone else slandering her. And we weren't clear if she is going to end in the end be with the ex or current bf. I had never associated zodiac with this either till I was looking at the card meanings and realized that the signs associated with these cards were theirs. I found it interesting that her exes card strength associated with Leo came up right next to hers which is Justice associated with Libra otherwise I don't think I would have made the connection. We are goingto keep working on this. And now that you know which cards and how I layed them out maybe if it gives you more insight you could let me know. Thank You Again!!! |
As i think you did a good enough job without my help or anyone's help here.

so accept you reading as a good one.
but here are some pointers.
usually with a three card spread the standard placements of each row in order would be Past, Present and Future. (now keep in mind your are the Reader and you should know the placement of your cards as to get the correct meaning as they relate to the question asked). the placement of the cards could be anything you want or a spread someone else has created hence the The 3 Cards Spread of Past, Present and Future.
the fact that you can relate the card to the zodiac is a good thing, if it works for you, and because the cards do have those meanings in them as you now know. actually you are one step ahead of me on that one because i know nothing to very little of the zodiac. so use that if it works for you without question.
btw, look for the Tarot Classes here and join! ITS FREE! with what appears to be your knowledge of zodiac would really help students, like myself, get a deeper meaning of the images in the card. it is a learn at your own pace course so there is no pressure.
anyway, the meaning of the cards could be meanings from a book or something you see and feel in the images or both etc. so don't let that slow you down for what you are feeling when you are doing the reading.
now, keep in mind, that sense your are reading for your daughter you will have to work on being very objective and not let personal feelings and what the cards are saying get confused.
now, that i have said all that... let me say this about that... your reading.
The first three cards are the Past telling us about the situation that led us to the Present. So apparently three people have gotten us to the future and the question asked of the cards. Clearly.
Justice could clearly be your daughter . and a deeper meaning of the card, for this reading, is that your daughter must make some decision and take a step between the pillars to find the truth. The Moon could easily be as you said a hidden truth because to gain justice you must get to the truth of the matter. The queen of swords could be a third party easily a woman with conflict that has to go into the future with what she has just dealt with in the Present.
That woman would be the person that has to act on her true feelings. To achieve success. I would think that the Queen of Sword (who ever she may be) is the one that started looking for the truth (Justice). But the Present experiences have made her into the what she is now going into the future The Queen of Swords. Yes I would say the Knight of Swords is someone as you have said… The Heirophant shows us the pillars that lead to a door way to the Holy of Hoiles that someone must past through to see the truth. Under the Hierophant or at his feet is two keys that might unlock that door.
Okay, If I was doing this reading, because the Heirophant the truth isn’t known yet and is still something being looked for. I don’t see the conclunsion you see with the “getting back together” or anything like that. I see hidden message that are yet to be unhidden.
NOW in saying all that it doesn't mean i know what your cards, your reading is really saying because i didn't do the reading. i just throw that out there to give you an ideal of what the cards might be saying and what i saw. just take what i said with a grain of salt and understand you did a pretty good reading all on your own.
when I read a spread like this, which i do all the time, i read the cards in their place from past to present to futrue one at a time and when i am done with that i read them as a whole, as whole great big picture.
Give this some thought! in the Past you have two minors (2 cups) and one major (strength) overall feels, for this question, like a positive beginning.
In the Present, you have 2 majors and a court card. overall someone is searching for something.
In the Future you have a minor, a court, a major card. overall still some confusion on emotions and issues at hand. because of the mix of the cards.
Of course when i read a spread i go in with the thought i will read my spread in two parts like that.
just something to think about...
also tons of Major cards which in your case would be a lot of strong emotions going on with a lot of people ie which is what you said is going on.
well those were my thoughts, any thoughts, ideals, or question please just ask we are all here to learn.
overall the
