This question has been asked before and I don’t believe the tarot can answer such questions.... (If others think any different, they are welcome to bring in their contribution to this).

The fact that you are asking this question means that you are not convinced about the job you are doing and are doubtful whether it suits you. The element of doubt and discontent is already there and you seem to be asking for further confirmation or affirmation from the mystic world... Is that right? In that case, you have already done your own reading.
The tarot would leave the choices and decisions to you, but if I am reading you correctly, I feel you are not satisfied with your job or you are at some cross roads whereby you are questioning everything related to your job. As to what suits you most, who best to have that answer than you, yourself?

If you have no idea as to what you are suited for or what drives you, then perhaps it is best to start looking at what you don’t like about your current job and take it from there.
Okay, this is spooky and I am going to say it.

I was shuffling the cards to pick only one card as a point of concentration about this topic and asked the question what can you tell me about Mizgator job situation? While I was shuffling, the Six of Cups sort of went askew, i.e. it neither flew out nor did it come off the deck. I continued shuffling and when I picked a card out of a pile of three, guess what – it was the Six of Cups.

The Six of Cups is showing us four cups in the forefront full of white flowers, one standing behind a young man full of flowers and the sixth one this young man is offering to a girl. The background is a village scene with a churchlike or a tower lookalike construction.
This is the card of nostalgia, looking back and wondering about the good old days.  The young man is giving a cup full of flowers to a friend or an old time sweetheart and they reminisce about the old days when they were friends or even a fling they may have had. What does this tell you about your job situation? Are you thinking about going back to a childhood dream or an ambition you had which you never followed up or took up as a profession or training? Is this telling you that possibly someone from the past or an idea from the past is starting to trigger your imagination and putting the flame inside you to start doing something about it? The question I asked was about a job situation and, as such, I will not get carried away that this is an old time sweetheart coming back into your life.
Do go back within and see what are the things (I am sure you already know) that you wished you had done and you never did or did not have the chance to accomplish. Perhaps that might give you an answer what job you are suited for most.

Thank you Cedars for the reading! Right now I am somewhat satisfied with my career. My current place of employment is somewhat disorganized and stressful but I do enjoy what I do for the most part. I just wasn't sure if you would be able to see if I will continue to work in higher education for the rest of my life. lol. I guess that's a little extreme.

I find it interesting that the Six of Cups showed itself twice! lol. I was told a few weeks back that an ex-boyfriend was coming back into my life. It's funny that you mentioned this even though you asked for a career reading! I wonder what this means and why it's coming in so strong for me. My ex coming back is what I get from that card. Because career wise I'm not looking to the past for answers on what I should do. So, I don't see the correlation. However, I definitely think that was relevant to my love life. Seems like that was something I needed to know more!
