I've had tarot cards for years and have played with them off and on, never finding a way to make them speak to me.  Guides that explain card meanings never do much for me.  

My issue is career.  I've tried many different divination methods trying to sort my life out.  I lost my job in May.  I've survived on odd-jobs since then.  But I know no clear career direction, no sense of occupational purpose.  I want to do something meaningful, but I can't seem to hit on anything.  In a month or so, finances may force me back into a soul-crushing administrative job.  

The cards I drew in the Celtic Cross card spread are below.  If readers are not willing to interpret these, I'm happy to have cards drawn for me.

4. 6 Wands (this is left side of significator.  I know different methods reverse 4 and 5)

Maybe this is the cause of your problem?

Maybe you try to get answer the easy way, and by that stumble.

Maybe I can be allowed to give my advice instead, in a way that might function, because it all goes on your own initiative, and evaluation.

What you need is a "Time Out", where you try to empty your head for all problems.
Then start asking yourself; What do I really want to do, and do I have abilities to do it?

Make up a list, sorted out in order.

When this is done, look at the job marked.
What kind of jobs are available that are on my list?
What kind of courses are available that can increase my chances to get one one of these?
Might moving to another area increase my chances to get a job I like and by that increase my life quality?

We all are our own "smith of luck", we must focus and have a goal, and work steady toward it.

A divination Reading might give you a clue, but seldom a solution if you aren't active yourself to fulfil it, and it seems that you aren't pleased with your life today, and then you need to change approach, and go direct to the source, which are YOURSELF!

I appreciate your thoughts.  I not one to shirk responsibility for creating my own life.  I'm don't sit on the couch watching TV and waiting for something to happen to me.  My personality is one that seeks experimentation and new initiatives (read: careers).  My desire for divinatory guidance stems from many failed attempts and missteps that at the time seemed harmonious.  It's a case of, "if not that, what?"  I do try "time outs" via meditation.  It's often helpful to my peace of mind but has thus far been less than helpful in solidifying a career path.  However, I will take your advise and continue in this manner.  As I've never had an official tarot reading, I would still love to get someone's take on the cards I drew.
