No, i'm not yet engaged. yes, it is quite common in our culture to marry a guy after one or two meetings and a few phone calls. I would have done that if i was 25. At 42, its difficult to find a match. Getting married at 42 in our society would be quite surprising and generally people would say that im lucky to hv got this chance.

I can see your situation here and of course am not here to comment on different cultures (I would like to sometimes though, but I know cultures cannot be changed).

All I can say is try and give this courtship period a fair chance and see how you feel about him and vice versa.

I would not like to do a futuristic and predictive reading on your questions - as things change, life changes, you change...... and many variables.

All I can do is wish you ALL THE VERY BEST of happiness in whatever choice you make.
