Hello MandyLee
As I tried to connect with your energies independent of the cards, I could sense the child within or an actual child (the person) around you, pony-tailed hair and rather happy in her own world. I am not sure if this is indicative of you and your current state or if this is someone around you. However, my feelings tell me this young girl could be a part of you which is still independent and is ready to get by with what life has to offer. Although I don’t see it in the window of my mind, but I sense a childhood friend who may make an appearance in your life and possibly this will make you get in touch with your childhood or your younger years when you knew each other. I have to stress, I do not see this person, but I get a feeling of its existence somewhere within your energies. I also feel this could be a male energy.
Rather than using a spread or a simple spread asking whether or IF you will find love, I am using a spread which is called: How do I find Love?
I am using the Rider Waite deck:
YOU NOW: Four of Pentacles
A man sitting his back turned away from the city lights and he is holding on to four pentacles: two under his feet, one to his chest and the fourth on his head. This person is playing all his cards close to his chest; keeping himself/herself secluded from the rest of the world and is not sharing his/her resources, feelings, talents and whatever else he/she can offer to the world at large. In tarot terms this is the miser card, but it is not necessarily indicative of monetary terms. I feel with this card your current state is one of uninvolved, out of touch with your surroundings and possibly a fear of letting it go and giving yourself a chance to discover and be discovered.
THE KIND OF LOVE YOU NEED: Six of Pentacles.
Hmmmm… again, we have pentacles here. I get the immediate feeling here that the kind of love or person you need to get involved with is one who gives and receives fairly. Or, should I go a step further and say that the kind of relationship you need is where both parties give and receive equally or as near as possible to an equal interaction, as there is no such a thing that a everything is 50/50 in a relationship. If your previous affairs/relationships have not been so, I feel this is the message for you to strive for a partner or a relationship where the giving and the taking is on an even keel and not too one-sided.
WHAT YOU MUST EXPRESS? Four of Cups
An element of depression and doubt surrounding you makes you probably not want to try or attempt to see what is on the other side of the fence perhaps? If that is a worry or a thought that is eating you up, then perhaps you should try and see it for yourself what could be a different experience, a different kind of a person that you have not dealt with before. This is the card of The grass is greener on the other side. But it is so? Two ways to look at this: why sit and wonder and be in the dark without trying to see if it actually is greener? Or, simply embrace what is currently available to you and forget what lies beyond the fence. Both of these options involve an element of risk and it is in your own psyche that the answer may lie. Sometimes we do need to jump over the fence to see what it is like there; if we like it and then perhaps it answers our questions. If we don’t like it, then it will still answer a burning question.
WHAT YOU MUST GIVE: The High Priestess.
Not all of yourself, is the first feeling I get, since the High Priestess is not yielding easily to demands and is secretive about giving answers. However, your feminine intuition may have been suppressed and you have been keeping everything close to your chest like the Four of Pentacles before. You must be willing to listen to the inner voice which you may have neglected for a while; gut feelings which may have come to you but you may have ignored them…. The High Priestess is all about our spirituality and it is a non-active state; a state within our own soul and spirit that finds the answers by being in touch with our higher self. Have you been perhaps ignoring that side of you?
WHAT YOU MUST TAKE? Knight of Wands.
This card can be explained as a character trait or a person. The Knight of Wands is a person with get up and go, full of passion and energy; ready to drop everything and hit the road for fund and excitement. He may not be so deep, he may only live for the moment, but he is all movement and action. This is the person itself as the Knight of Wands. Whether you must take such a person coming into your life or adopt/take such qualities which you may have left behind, is up to you to answer.
HOW YOU WILL FIND LOVE? King of Swords.
When I describe to you the qualities of the King of Swords, perhaps it will make sense (or not) on how you may go about finding love. The King of Swords is an astute person; he is fair and does not give in to emotions. He calls a spade a spade and he does not suffer fools gladly. He is tough in his dealings and, above all, he is a fair person.
Have you been perhaps more giving in your dealings and interactions with your prospective lovers/partners in the past?
I know this reading does not answer if or whether you will find love, but I do hope this has made some sense to you with regard to your question and the advice given in it.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes.
