I did this reading for myself so its a little difficult to interpret. I wanted to know what I would be doing for a career and how I will become successful. I used the celtic cross spread. Here is the reading.

1st position: Basis or focus of the matter: Knight of Pentacles.
2nd position: Positive or negative energy for or against you: Knight of wands
3rd position: Subconscious, message from your higher self, soul purpose: Queen of pentacles
4th position: The past: 7 of pentacles
5th position: Conscious influence: 10 of swords
6th position: Near future: 9 of chalices
7th position: My point of view: Judgement
8th position: How others see me or my environment: Queen of Chalices
9th position: Hopes/fears/lesson: 3 of pentacles
10th position: Outcome: 9 of pentacles with two clarifying cards; 10 of pentacles and 2 of Chalices

I know with other sites there are rules like you have to post your interpretation before anyone can help. I dont know if thats a rule here but Id rather not say anything so I can get someone elses completely unbiased interpretation. If necessary I will post my own interpretation. First....Tarot main forum is for discussing about Tarot in general....Tarot Reading Forum is for Personal Readings.

Now to your request.

Tarot is NOT a firm tool, with that I mean, you put out a spread and every reader then tell the same thing.

Tarot have some ground rules, which it is best to learn before one enter the real trade of Readings.

When one feel confident in this, then one will develop further, by using ones skill.

A reading in itself, is a combination of Tarot and THE READER!!!!, and the READER is a major participant in any outcome of the finish product.

It depend on how his/her connection to the seeker is established, what knowledge the Reader have about the subject that is asked (in order to read the cards from several angles), his/her imagination and so on.

Back to your request....
You bring a layout and want to know what it means.....well as said above...that can differ a lot....because the readers have no connection...they just get a layout.

If this is posted in order to learn;
Then you can only do so by posting your own reading and ask for different opinions, views, or angles to look on it.....your Reading might not be wrong....you might only not be confident enough to see it all....and in the end...it will be the "seekers" TASK to see any Reading through....a spread in itself only gives possibilities, which we might fulfil or avoid with our own actions.

So if it is to learn and discuss tarot...then you are in the right place...but need to give your own Reading in order to have a discussion object.

If it is a personal request to see what the spread is, Then Tarot Reading Forum is the right place, but then again..Tarot Reading is a combination of Reader and Tarot, and then it is better to ask the question and let the Reader put out spread on his/her own.

Ok it's for getting a different perspective. Like I said I will add my interpretation if those are the rules. Basically what I got out of it was that I will be doing some sort of healing/occult or environmental career. I will make good money and perhaps a business of my own serving people. I'm still confused about the 10 of swords though and I just wanted someone elses view of the reading. I'll ask in the other forum if anyone would like to give me their own reading. thanks
