Thank you for asking me to give you a reading.

Your question is rather a predictive one whereby you would like to know if there is love looming on the horizon or around the corner for you. Let us steer away from predictions and see what you can do to bring that about, if anything.
I have not touched the cards at this stage and am trying to connect with your energies and this is what I am getting from you.
I read your request a few times and tried to connect with you on a different level about this relationship issue. I am afraid I did not feel or see in the window of my mind a partner waiting for you around the corner. I was more in tune with what you are going through rather than an impending romance waiting for you at the moment. I sense, I feel there is something of a panic about you to want to be in a relationship; it is almost a wishful thinking, a natural desire, but I somehow don’t feel comfortable about it. I feel the desire is because you want to be in a relationship in order to alleviate some element of boredom and loneliness. Please don’t get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with any of these feelings. I just feel the haste that you have in this is not going to work in your favour as long as you keep looking for it. I am very tempted to say to you; wait until this relationship comes to you. It seems to me you are on a chariot speeding on to find this love and romance along the way. Almost like a panic-driven ride; that in itself I feel will be an obstacle for you. I am also getting the feeling that probably you have not got many friend around you. Although I call this the give-and-take card, but the first feeling I got from this is your mindset: that you keep giving and giving and you are not getting anything in return. Whether this is in the way of giving the energy of affection to people; financial assistance or any form of moral and kindness that show to those around you. I feel, you may sometimes be disillusioned with your actions and seeing no returns. I am going by my feeling here rather than a black and white interpretation of this card.

The Kind of Love you may need: Four of Swords
This is a time of going low, being by yourself and having time for yourself to ponder and assess your own situation and recharge your energies.
I get the feeling that for now you need to love yourself and look after yourself even if that means withdrawing from the world or withdrawing from this sense of disillusionment and panic about finding love and romance. Time to reflect on yourself and what you really want from yourself and life. The kind of love you need now is you to love yourself Horus.

What you must express: Page of Cups.
This is a young energy, a teenage-like behaviour which, sometimes as adults, we lack or abandon when we become far too serious in our dealings with people. I am going to go again with what I am feeling with this card rather than a dry interpretation: I feel your seriousness in anything related to love and romance may not be working in your favour. Perhaps you might try the light-hearted, flirtatious approach – the teenager within you which may have gone and become too serious and dry. For example, when you meet someone, try and express a light-hearted approach rather than go heavy on the relationship issue.  Have fun; be merry.... yes, even at our age we can do all of that.

What you must give: Justice.
Be fair and willing to listen to the other side too. This being a Major Arcana card, I feel may be playing a big part in your quest to find love. Perhaps you see things only from your perspective when it comes to partnerships and new liaisons. Perhaps it is time you started being fair and give the other person a chance to express and be themselves in the way which they are. All too often we try to impose our opinions and standards on other people and hence don’t give them a chance to come forward even they wanted to.

What you must take: Eight of Cups.
I would much prefer to call this placement: what you must abandon.
When things don’t work for you, just let go and do not build too heavily on them – whatever that may be. Wherever you are at now in your life, I feel there are things which are not working for you, even though they may look in good order on the surface. There are times that we need to take a new step forward and leave a few things behind.

How you may find love? Four of Wands.
This is the card of merriment with friends and family and also a time of celebration with what one has achieved so far. It follows the 2 and the 3 where one made a choice, a pact with oneself or another and now has the time to enjoy the outcome of his efforts. If you don’t have a big social circle around you, then make do with the few and also do not abandon family. This is almost giving thanks to what you already have and celebrating their presence in your life. Have fun, Horus, be merry with what you already have and let love come to you in time.

Once again, you are dead on with your Tarot reading...Thank You!!...and I see it as a very positive reading from beginning to end.  However, I do need to mention that I have been without a mate for 2 yrs due to my own self-imposed need to turn more inward and attempt bring some lifelong patterns/cycles of chronic negativity to an end. Will I succeed??...well, I feel that I am on the brink of change, and I do feel the need to start seeking new relationships, both intimate as well as just friendships.

Is it partially driven by loneliness and boredom? Yes it is, but hey- its been 2 yrs, and ve really put all I could into doing the inner work needed to manifest change. I am not looking for anything serious right now- just something nice and light without any hardcore commitment. Its just that I've had trouble attracting ANYONE NEW that is worthwhile into my life. Though I am looking for something light, they (whether targets for friendship or something more intimate) are probably picking up on my heavy energies which I'm seeking to release. Its been an ongoing internal battles, but I feel that victory is certain.

I thin that it is my time to emerge out of the shadows and into a nice, flirtatious relationship...I don't just want anyone...I want to attract someone I do like physically and emotionally...
