It is totally impossible for a reader to give you any concrete advice or shed some light in this matter, this is a "relationship" issue, between you and your wife.

It is important for us all to remeber that relationships are at times "fickle"! Or perhaps both partners are prone to have an aggresive or overly dominating approach, suffocating the other.
