I'm in a real dilemma, and despite my efforts, I seem to keep sinking...My problems are many and deep, and I am going through a real FIRESTORM financially, and the avenues I'm taking to get out of this all seem to be closed (or they seem open at first, and then they close up).

I'm doing my best to "shift the matrix" and recreate my reality but it doesn't appear to be working very well.

My situation is quite dire...[b]what do you see for me?[/b What are the cards teling you about my situation and the possibility of real change in the near future?

I tried to connect with your energies before touching the cards and I’m afraid I didn’t get much. All I was getting was a blur of some sort which probably indicates the situation you find yourself in right now.
However, I left this topic and came back to it after a while... The feeling I started to get was one of ......trying too hard at things..... I know this sounds a bit out of place considering the dire situation you have described about yourself, but sorry Horus, I cannot help get that feeling that perhaps you are trying too hard. Now you will argue what is “trying too hard” about making ends meet or when trying to make a living? When feelings like this come to a reader, sometimes it is hard to explain where and how they are coming and can only hope it makes sense to the seeker. I am just getting the feeling when you work at a project or a tender or an enquiry, perhaps you are trying far too hard to pursue it until you see it either come into fruition or bury it for good and seal the last nail to the end. I just feel that sometimes you should let things take their own course and come back to you if they are meant to come back. I know that from my work experience that when I really want a project to turn into an order, it never does. But, you will argue, how can one start a project or respond to an enquiry and then wait and see it to come to fruition on its own? Sometimes we just need to do that my friend. This is where I am getting the feeling of trying too hard and I hope you do not take offense or any kind of criticism to your efforts. Or, perhaps this feeling of mine makes more sense to you in a different way that I described.

Now let us go to the cards.
The question I asked: What is happening around Horus in terms of his career and what does he need to know to bring about the changes which are for his highest good?

Position 1: Info about the origin of the question: The World.
A Major Arcana card which signifies full cycle, attainment and completion. It is the place you want to get and be content and happy with your journey. But journeys do not really end; they run their cycle and  new ones start and thus it goes until we come to an end. This is where you want to be; this is what you want to attain and achieve.

Position 2: Info about the forces/energies important at present: Five of Swords.
There are two ways we can look at this. Here we see a man holding three swords and two on the ground whilst two other men in the forefront, next to at the shores of a relatively calm sea grieving and mourning their defeat. The man who has the swords in his possession is the victor and yet I don’t feel he feels victorious and all that happy with his achievement, if you can call that. But, he is looking after his own interests; he is putting himself above all. That is fine, but sometimes that does not bring the satisfaction that one seeks and makes one feel empty inside. Even if your conquests and successes are not 100% satisfactory, I feel the message here is one of contentment with what is going around you. The small victories and successes around you may not mean much to you, but this is how things are at the moment: look after yourself because, as things stand, you are still winning, even though it may not feel to you like a win-win situation.

Position 3. Near Future. What to expect? Two of Pentacles.
I feel with this card you will have to make do with what you have as the man who is juggling two coins between his hands whilst the ships behind him are still on stormy waters. They will come home sooner or later, but only after the storms have died down. The man, on the other hand, has got two coins which he is juggling and making it serve his purposes in the best possible way that he can. He is not unhappy with this situation and is finding some kind of joy and contentment in this state of making ends meet. It is a choice he has made for now, for the time being until the ships – in the background – come home through the difficult times.

Position 4. The help that is offered and what can you do to reach your goal? Six of Wands.
Here we see a warrior, a leader coming home victorious to a cheering crowd. The atmosphere is festive and he is being praised for his victory. I feel with this card your surroundings, whether it is business associates, family and friends, know about you and how successful you can be and they will rally around you. Wands belong to the element of Fire and passion/success is part of that fiery and creative element. I feel, in this case, the help that you will get is from your circle of work associates, friends and/or family who believe in you and thus will keep you on track to attain success. This is a very positive card and I also believe success cannot be achieved alone.

Position 5. The influence of environment: things you have to confront. Ace of Cups.
Cups belong to the element of Water – fluid, sensitive and they spread where they find space to go. Aces are gifts and new beginnings given to us from the Universe. They present themselves to us by the Divine and we can either take them or reject them. In the case of the Ace of Cups I feel there is a new beginning in store for you in the area of possibly tender feelings or some form of spiritual growth and self-recognition for the Horus which is within. You may find this new beginning to be less materialistic and more geared towards the finer things in life. You may find this new beginning may bring new aspirations and spiritual development within you that may give birth to new ideas not necessarily related to money and finance. Whenever we are confronted with something new and out of the ordinary, that usually presents us with a dilemma, if not a challenge to contend with. I feel whatever this beginning is (within the next six months) may shift your point of view about life and your priorities quite positively – but it may be a challenge to the norm that you have been used to.

Position 6. Things that oppose; your internal state. Page of Wands.
Okay. This is that energy from within that aspires to new ideas and projects; passion to create and be creative; passion which comes from within full of grand ideas. It is a young energy; almost like a fiery teenager who can be philosophical at times and sets forward to conquer the world.  Pages are messengers or messages coming either through people or from within yourself. It may be a message coming from an adult who has the energies of a teenager. But, because of their age, I feel this message is fresh and coming from within you who will present you with a challenge to what you want and what you should do.  This is something that may be happening within you and may create a conflict with the outside world – the reality – and what you wish to achieve against those realities.

Position 7. Outcome/Summation. Page of Cups - clarifier Six of Swords.
Here we have another court card from the element of water.  Like most court members of the Cups suit, the page of cups is too about sentiments and emotions; message of some romantic affair, an admirer and a flirtatious youngster. What do all these mean in terms of your situation? It could, indeed mean a message of love or the start of some emotional involvement which would divert your attention from your issues and add a new perspective to your current struggles. It is almost like saying, sit back and enjoy what else life has got to offer to you. The clarifier card of the Six of Swords shows us a family leaving their troubles behind and heading to calmer shores. This can also mean a journey of some sort which will bring clarity to your situation whereby you will be able to leave all your problems behind. Whether you  can take this Outcome or Summation as a new birth in your romantic life, I believe the messages here are those of happy and new tidings – romance or relief to your finances. More to the point, I feel the message to you personally is to get in touch with your feelings, find the child and the teenager in you and in doing so you will see your troubles abandoning you and you sailing towards better and calmer shores.

I don’t know how you feel about this reading, especially where the Outcome card is concerned, but sometimes we get answers that we never anticipated and therein possibly lies the message or the answer to our issues.

It wasn't what I expected, but in some ways I could see how it applies to my situation. Overall, I see the reading as positive and one which portends a new beginning....and I could definitely live with that!

Hello Cedars,

Well, I have still have my financial dilemma, but things have intensified. I am presently waiting on two business deals to close: 1) this first deal is a Germany alternative energy deal which was suppose to close on June 30th and it hasn't, and 2) the second deal involves taking to trade a client's in-ground assets, which would make an especially super-nice payday for me.

Here is the problem: in my heart, I feel that the principal for the Germany deal may not go through with the deal, and that he is feverishly tryin gto obtain funding from within Germany o Europe in general. Thisis what my intuition is telling me, especially since he knows th deal was to close on the 30th and he has failed to provide some key documents needed to close the deal. The princiapl needs the money, but I sense (and I could be wrong- hopefully) that he just doesn't want to get any loans from America or anywhere else outside of Germany. Therefore, if this doesn't go through, I will be especially SCREWED in tems of my bills, and I have used up all the favors that I have asked of people in terms of financial help. In the second case, I feel the deal will go through, but it is taking longer than I thought, and that brings up some doubt within me.

My question is: Will either of these deals close (and I get paid) in this month of July?
