Hi everyone! I'm really confused and need some help with a situation. Ok there is this guy I use to see 3 years ago. I stopped trying to have anything with him because he wasn't ready to settle down and wanted to enjoy his 20s. He's having his 30th birthday party next week and I'm torn on whether I should go or not.

So my question is should I go to his party and what outcome will come from going? Thanks!

and let me add that the reason I'm torn is because I still have some feelings for him and I don't want to not go and miss the opportunity for us to get together but I don't want to go and get disappointed because he doesn't have any feelings for me and doesn't want me there. So is me going to the party a positve or negative? and why?

No one outside of you can tell whether you should go or not my dear friend. That is entirely up to you; and no reading or card should tell you that either. If going to his party will cause you pain, which I feel it will, (as I have been there myself) then you should do the wise and selfish thing for yourself and stay put - or go somewhere else with your friends. However you look at it, that night is not going to be easy for you, whether you go to the party or not. If going to the party will mean that you will see him flirt around with other girls, then, if I were you, I would not go. Staying 'friends' after a break up does not work either...
This is not a reading my dear; you do not need a reading. You have to decide  by putting yourself first and foremost.
You either face the pain and grow out of it  - easier said than done - or you cut it off completely.
Whatever you do, LOVE yourself and protect yourself - no matter what your surronding says to you.

A part of me want to go but more of me don't want to go because the disappointment would be too great to deal with afterward especially since I have went 3 years without trying to see him. Oh my good lady, the second question is still up the air. You have a wound to heal and best get on with the task of healing it. They say, when one is ready, a lover will show up. As to whate kind of person he will be....hmmmm...... who knows? I have no idea; but you will know when you meet him.
